Ambivalence is a state of having simultaneous, conflicting feelings toward a person or thing.

So he had a love-hate relationship toward Jews? I'm not buying that one. I think the guy was just a thug who was happy as hell to ingratiate himself with the higher powers by becoming the biggest Jew hater he could be.

He was the ultimate bureaucrat -- loyal, highly efficient, and perfectly politically correct.

I’m guessing so, because at the beginning, Eichman was tasked with getting Jews to emigrate from Germany instead of killing them. He had a whole office dedicated to studying Judaism.
