A federal judge declared this health insurance bill unconstitutional. Obama and the Democrats ignore the judge and continue to implement an unconstitutional law. Where the devil is the Republican party? Why haven’t they gone to the judge and asked for an injunction on the implementation of this awlful law? Why aren’t the conservative people starting to stir? This clown can’t continue to make up his own rules if the Republicans stand up to him and smack him with constitutional law. A great bunch of guys sat in a hot Independence Hall and hacked out a Constitution which would stop these Democrats in their tracks if our guys today would get some of the same kind of guts.
There have been 5 rulings from lowly District Courts. 3 have upheld Obamacare. 1 uphelp all but the individual mandate. Only 1 declared the whole law unconstitutional.
It would seem 3-2 now in rulings in favor of Obamacare. Vinson’s ruling is no more determinative than the other 3 or 4.
Pay attention to how the system works. The time to get excited is when an Appeals Court rules. That has substance. There is good hope that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals will uphold Vinson’s ruling-—not withstanding what other Circuits will do-—but until then, Vinson is just 1 guy with a court opinion.
You would not want to make it any other way. Say, a District Judge declared FR violated something; would you want our site shut down immediately before an appeal ruling?
