My religion is not something that I conceal. Is yours?
Perhaps it is picking nits, but ‘religion’ is another man-made thing. I have a personal relationship with the Savior. I attend a Baptist church. We use the King James Bible. We meet 3 times a week.
What any of that has to do with whether or not one should tithe is beyond me. I do not love my money, it is but a tool, just like a hammer. This particular tool helps get missionaries out, helps pay elderly heating bills, helps clothe needier children in the winter. The list goes on.
None of that happens without the congregation giving out of what God has provided for them. None. What you do for the least of these, you do for jesus. Give, tithe, gladly.
