It would seem very likely that this woman is both a hero(ine), and a tool of the LGBT movement, striking out at organized religion (especially Christian religion).
They might have promised her financial support if she would ‘get fired’ somehow and blame it on her sexual preference.
Just because she ‘was’ a hero, doesn’t mean she couldn’t bend over for a bunch of money, and some fame.
Of course, it could just be the ‘church’ (board members) deciding they didn’t want the association, because she had gone ‘public’ with her ‘sexual preference issues’.
Probably all of the above.

Do you know what the nature of the false reports were. Not being snarky, I am interested in the details. As we know there are false reports and there are false reports. I wonder if she was railroaded due to her, er ,sexual preferences for some minor administrative violations inflated into being VERY VERY SERIOUS offenses?
