They probably did the right thing. These people wanted to be seen being dragged out in handcuffs. By not forcibly removing them they lost their camera shots. Once this bill is eventually passed these people will pack up and go home.

Sounds a bit like Mexico, when the teachers all filled the plaza, APPO and Seccion 22. In the end it is MOB rule, a few horny, angry, loud, mouthy poor souls speak for the silent masses who went to polls to express their sentiment.

You’re correct. Any perceived use of force by the authorities to get these people to leave would be portrayed as Libya in Madison by the cable networks. Which is exactly what the organizers of this event want.

Activate ll that fire alarms in the Capitol & send in the firemen to evacuate the building!

OR:
Turn off all the heat to the Capitol Building.

Turn off the power to the building.

Turn off the water to the building.

Lock all the bathrooms.

Keep security cameras rolling. Be prepared to issue citations.

Take the legislature to another building in town & conduct their business there.

Announce that the SWAT teams will evacuate the building by midnight Tuesday night.

Enough is enough.
