I was interested in him earlier until he started to walk back on social positions a couple of months back. This absolute tone deaf response to the fleebaggers is the opposite of Walker, and it's going to make it real hard for the base to want to support him if he runs and wins.

The unions are fighting hard, and he just blew it big time with them.

Yeah, same here. I have defended his previous bulldog approach to fiscal issues but his backing down on social and collective bargaining issues have soured me big time.

Part of what Walker is trying to do Mitch did right after he came into office some time ago.

On January 11, 2005 he unilaterally rescinded all collective bargaining rights of state employees and voided pre-existing contracts.

Was anyone here aware of that?
