Saul Alinsky at work.
Conservatives have to be held to standards, but Lefties can be held to no standards.

A genuine decent, honest patriotic American - which is precisely why obama and his pals want him destroyed. All part of the plan.

My favorite justice, hands down.

So J Thomas and his wife
are focused on defending liberty. Great!
Only a liberal leftist socialist pig could be against that.

Emphasizing the importance of the Supreme Court, Thomas said Its not a game with me. It doesnt deal with any ego stuff with me. This is about our country. And one of the things I want to do is I want to go to my grave knowing that I gave everything I had to trying to get it right. God Bless Justice Thomas.

Silent Clarence Thomas is silent until he has to speak.
To: Sub-Driver
Thomas sided with the conservative majority in the decision, which allowed corporations to fund political ads and contributed to an explosion in advertising campaigns funded with anonymous contributions in the 2010 midterm elections. Yet dems get all that cash from Unions, mysterious over seas contributions Stimulus money to name a few.

struck a defiant tone in a Saturday night speech in Charlottesville, Va., telling a friendly audience...
...spoke at the closing banquet for the symposium, which was sponsored by the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group
not a big gripe, but I like how Politico goes out of its' way to show that Thomas spoke to a group of conservatives. I don't recall them doing this when a liberal speaks to the media, college students, unions, etc.

These scumbags tried to lynch Thomas in the Senate. He gave them a lesson. You'd have thought they would have learned better than to take him on. But no-o-o-o...

O M G He actually said we must defend liberty! /s

Young people should study the life and writings of Justice Thomas, who is one great man, but the public / left wing schools go out of their way to hide him from students. Next February, there should be a Justice Thomas week.

I remember the Anita hill hearings when then Sen Bite-me insisted in pontificating to nominee Thomas in his gas-bag way and Thomas shut him and all the rest down with his accurate description of a 'high tech lynching.'
VP Bite-me has never gotten over that slap-down. Yeah, Plugs, it was a BFD.

I liked Justice Thomas until I read “My Grandfather’s Son.” Now I like, admire, and trust him more than any other justice on the SC. This brilliant man is one of our country’s greatest assets.
I wish that we had 535 of him.
To: SeekAndFind
He is also the most lucid writer on the Court today. Clear thinking leads to clear writing, and the liberal dirtbags are almost incomprehensible in the addled gibberish that passes for their "opinions."
Not so with Justice Thomas.

Thomas is about the only good thing Old Man Bush did.

The media have behaved unbelievably toward Clarence Thomas. If Arlen Specter has done one good thing in his life, it was the way he chaired the hearing and put the mud back right on the faces of his accusers.
Clarence Thomas is decent, moral, upstanding, religious, dependable, and a first-class constitutional lawyer. One of the best justices who has ever sat on the Supreme Court.
It’s no wonder if he stays out of the limelight, since he gets smeared every time the press has the slightest chance to do so.
They are dirty, slimy, racist pigs for treating him the way they do. If there is any justice in the world, they had better make their peace with God before they leave this world for the next.
If they even know who God is.

This is a circus. It's a national disgrace. And from my standpoint as a black American, as far as I'm concerned, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you. You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. -- U.S. Senate, rather than hung from a tree. (notice Biden avert his eyes in shame?)
Justice Thomas, a great American; a Profile in Courage.
To: Sub-Driver
Justice Thomas’s situation reminds me of Sarah Palin’s situation. They have both been attacked and lied about mercilessly, for a whole lot the same reasons.
