Interesting in the interview with Daniels, Wallace questioned him about end of life issues (and snarkily mentioned Sarah Palin in the process) Question to self: was Chris snarky when he mentioned Sarah or is it his voice that always sounds snarky?
Anyway, Mitchell stuck to his guns that there were end of life issues that need to be addressed, i.e. in this country where the obits quite often are about late eighty or ninety-year olds dying, we need to figure out how much we can afford to spend on extraordinary measures to give those people a few more years.
He’s probably right but, just like the social issue thing he brought up before, that’s something better left unsaid.
Stay in Indiana, brother. I like you but ...
How high do gas prices have to get and how dire does our association with these middle east countries have to be to finally get The People to start agitating for using our own natural resources.
Not only are they abundant, but it would create a vast number of private sector jobs.
Will America wake up at the pumps?
“Stay in Indiana, brother. I like you but ...”
Why would you wish something like that on Hoosiers? I voted for him last time but hope I never need to decide again. I know more about him than I did in 2008. He does not need to be president. He’s getting a pass from the national media from some negatives on his record. I wonder who is pulling those strings.
“or is it his voice that always sounds snarky?”
His voice always sounds snarky (probably because he is).
“Stay in Indiana, brother.”
I agree - the left’s been bringing him up more and more as a “contender in 2012”. That’s enough reason right there for me to NOT want to see him nominated.
