Our winter of 2008-09 was a Minneapolis-style winter. It started snowing in December and didn't stop until February. We had weeks and weeks when it didn't get over 20. This is highly unusual for Seattle.
The snow piles stayed until April, and the snow towers in the parking lots didn't disappear until June.
