We had a special retirement lunch that day, and it poured the whole time.
Its like an 1/8 mile walk to the parking lot.
My poncho worked good, FROM THE KNEES UP LOL

This is a Ray Thomas entry from "Keys to the Kingdom". The disk is moving along with a series of uptempo tunes, and suddenly everything comes to a screeching halt so that Ray can sing one of his sea chanties. The guys indulged him due to his longevity, but I can see why Moraz was so impatient with him.
Thomas' lyrics are a throwback to the Sixties.

The storm today came down at the rate of 1-2 inches of snow per hour.
nearly white out conditions most of the day.
the snow has ceased, but now the wind has picked up and is blowing it all over the place..

This is a John Lodge tune from "Strange Times" and shows the expert use of the tools of opera,
recitative and
arioso. "I don't want to wake up now" is his
arioso passage, accompanied by strings. It's just devastating.
The first time I heard it I had to go for my handkerchief.
