I live in Mass. and I work for a living. I’m one of the few who does not have a union “shovel supervisor” job where I stand around with my thumb up my &#%! and drink coffee all day. I was also born in America and speak English, so in this State I’m not elegiable for any benefits. If I don’t have medical insurance (which I can’t afford) I have to pay a large fine at the end of the year. The State takes the fine directly out of my tax refund. Why doesn’t the State provide the insurance and take the costs directly out of my tax refund instead of a fine? Because they want the CA$H, not quality care. The care is for the lazy (but politically connected) and the free-loaders who made their way here in an inner-tube. Thank’s Mitt...

Curious how much the fine is? Is it a percentage of income?
