I wonder. It could resemble 1964, with the ‘moderates’ falling apart during the convention and then rallying to do everything to sabotage the candidate during the campaign. I can remember Gorgeous George Romney introducing Barry Goldwater to a good sized crowd with thinly veiled contempt. His introductory remarks consisted of “Ladies and Gentlemen the Republican Candidate for President.” He wouldn't even say Goldwater's name and he ostentatiously left the platform a couple minutes into Goldwater's remarks. I can easily imagine the ‘moderate’ Lugar types doing this and a lot more to Palin. If the nation is in obvious chaos it may not damage her that much. In a close election it will. I know people who are life long Repubs who state flatly ‘I will never support or vote for that woman. Obama at least is a Harvard Law grad.”

LOL.
You are such a pariah. You post this kind of crap and virtually everyone piles on and says the obvious: That you are full of sh*t.
You are the most despised and ridiculed poster on FR for good reason. You earned it.
You're stuck with it.
Count the posters (two?) that defended you on this thread and kindly just do a suicide opus for us again, but this time stay away like you promised.
No one listens to you because you have zero credibility.
Congrats. This thread was a joy to read.

Agreed! We can’t afford a 1964 type election. Barry will get two more picks on the sc and we can’t have that.
Anyone thinking palin will be the best option to defeat barry is delusional. The only one I see who can beat obama at this point is christie.
