It is infuriating how, in recent years, so many wonderful restaurants and bars have been put out of business by conniving and unscrupulous jerks who use their disabilities for ill gain.

Sleezeburger in Sacramento had a very small bar and a walkup order counter but but covered tables 'outside'. They accomodated the handicapped by going outside for there orders. Good enough? NOPE. This wheelchair dude that makes a living finding violations sued because he couldn't come inside to order and shut them down since there was NO way they could modify and still keep the required parking spots. Fortunately, they reopened elsewhere but it doesn't have the same 'ambience'.

Worked for a guy years back who was confined to a wheelchair. But, he was pretty adept and the building was Handicapped Accessible in extreme.

Bright guy too.

His wife was a nurse. One day he and she got in a tiff and she pushed him down the stairs.

End of marriage. But you know, I never once heard him complain about places he couldn't get into.
