ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: President Obama will start his day by receiving his regular rounds of morning briefings.
In the afternoon the president will hold the first meeting with the newly formed "Presidents Council on Jobs and Competitiveness" at the White House.
The council is chaired by Jeffrey Immelt, CEO and Chairman of General Electric. In addition, Ursula Burns, Eric Lander, and James McNerney will serve as ex-officio members.
I am proud that such experienced and committed individuals have agreed to serve the American people in these important roles," President Obama said in a statement yesterday announcing the members of the committee,"I look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead.
Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of the Treasury privately in the Oval Office.

What do these corporate suits know about creating jobs in the US. They are platinum members of the global economy and have climbed the corporate ladder outsourcing jobs and sending US capital investment overseas.
90% of private sector jobs in America are created by small business. If Obama were serious he would be talking to the people who know how to accomplish the objective. More lack of substance from the community organizer.
What's 0dumb0 been doing in the mornings of the past 2 years? Polishing his golf clubs while others work? Or sleeping off the binge drinking & crack parties from the past night? Geez, I hate 0dumb0 more every time his name comes up, usually in a way that's detrimental or destructive to America.
