I saw that, and didn’t get it either. I did a rewind to make sure that is what he really said. He didn’t really give and answer, other than it is a budget issue. (It is much more than a budget issue, Governor!)
He seemed to have a reason- but I couldn’t make it out. Glad it wasn’t just me!
I’m praying that was a ploy. If he said he was entertaining the idea, the protests would be stepped up to the riot level such that the pub senators couldn’t even get into the building. You never want to tell your enemy what your next move is. That said, I have no idea - only hope - that he will actually pull that trigger.
I think he should just do it, with no warning and no fanfare.
