To: American Dream 246

What about the tens of thousands of American citizens in Libya? Do they become hostages once we announce a military intervention? I am more concerned about their safety than that of Libyans.

My guess is that a NEO (Non Evacuation Operation) is most likely being performed as we speak if not done already. One Amphibious Naval group would be all thats needed to complete the task.

I expect most of them are already gone, and I doubt there are tens of thousands to begin with. US companies don't have a significant presence in Libya. Many times more Italians.
