Regarding the statements in the report that less government spending would be a drag on the economy: I believe you are confusing economic “fact” with historical reality. Keynesian economic “facts” are simply not factual.

Thank you for getting to the heart of the matter. Although I don't buy into normative aspects of Keynesian economics --- namely, that it is desirable for the government to intervene --- I have not heard a repudiation of a positive observation, namely, that reduction in spending will reduce growth.
