It was awfully hard to not laugh wasn’t it?

Not for me. I chuckled every time Mr. Show Off missed, and lost it when Charlie offered him his gun.

6th annual TCMS Range report: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

It was a beautiful day today , so I decided to go to the cotton gin for lunch and then to the river to test out my new C93 rifle and some new thermold AR15 mags.

Just before I left my right arm went wonky.
Wierd and tingly and just didnt seem right. I did some motion exercises and seemed to have the full range of motion.
Weird.
Then the doorbell rang and it was my friend Gina.
I said you hungry? She said yeah, so I said lets go to lunch.
Good News:
We made the roadtrip to crandall and I am pleased to report the food is as good as ever, Big yeast rolls, cornbread and 3 sides with your entree... I had chicken fried steak, she had chicken fried chicken.
We got the foot high coconut cream pie to take home with our substantial leftovers

We then made the short drive to the range.
Mickey has done some work on the access gate and has redone the roads with white rock.
Shooting tables were adequate and he has placed out many new 55 gal trash barrels
The 400 yard range is sporting about 8 brand international orange steel gongs.

Bad news:
The C93 would not function. I got a few round off but never in succession, and the rifle failed to eject.
When it did fire it was a tack driver.
Back in the case with it.
The new Thermold mags worked great in the AR 15.

We headed back to town and I dropped Gina off then went to Ammo depot to see what could be done with the gun.
As luck would have it Jeff The gunsmith was there and he looked over the gun, there was an issue with the bolt carrier and he needed specialty tools which he did not have with him to fix it.
Mickey had two more and told me I could swap with one.
So I picked out the best one and test fired it.
It worked flawlessly!

The Ugly:
I went to fill out the paper work and found I could not write my name.
I was stunned. I tried harder and my writing got progressively better, but I had to fill out the form 3 times before I got it right.
I seem to be doing much better now that I am home.
I will make an appointment with the Doc for next week.
