“Bishop” is another title that blacks will take, and insist upon being addressed as such, without any reason other than they like being called “Bishop”. At least that is the case in my neck of the woods.
I have known several people who's first names were Admiral, Reverend, Bishop, Colonel, and Mayor. Seems weird, but it is a projectionist quirk. If the child has a grand name, maybe he or she will be grand when they grow-up. Of course , some have their name legally changed later in life.
