White House tries backpedaling from Madison protests

Did the Obama administration’s political group help organize union protests in Madison? It depends on whom you ask … and when. Early on, the White House seemed proud of those connections. Doug Ross, for instance, captured this tweet from DNC communication director Bob Woodhouse on February 17th, when Woodhouse “proudly” retweeted a Politico article linking the White House to the protests:

Proudly RT @evale72: RT @woodhouseb@BarackObama‘s pol arm DNC/OFA playing role in WI protests:http://politi.co/eVVkyR @evale72 // yup!!!

OFA is, of course, Organizing for America, which used to be Obama’s political campaign organization, whose transformation into OFA was announced by Obama himself three days before his inauguration. It now runs under the auspices of the DNC. The Washington Post reported on the 18th that Obama “thrust himself” into Madison through his “political operation”:

Great, Obama has just managed to p!$$ off not just greater America but also his union supporters. Even a screaming lefty gets some respect if he doesn’t waffle.

It is one of those, “while I was buying ammunition I was totally for it - after I shot myself in the foot, not so much.”

I think this is key:

"The AFL-CIO and NEA sponsored a poll that purportedly shows Walker and the GOP losing this PR battle in Wisconsin, but if that were truly the case, then the White House would hardly launch a belated effort to wipe its fingerprints off of the union protests."

I find that waffling can be extremely helpful on some occasions; Generally to determine how much one knows about what I did.

Barry’s re-election campaign for 2012 is almost solely reliant on Union officials donating huge chunks of cash. This is why Richard Trumka talks to the White House every day and why Barry has thrown the weight and resources of the Executive branch behind organizing protests.

Barry has a very clean index finger. It's constantly in his mouth before he holds it up into the wind. Ooops, he doesn't like the way the wind is blowing. Now, attention is focused on his middle finger as he holds it up to the American people.

It's hard to find a human being more disgusting than Richard Trumka. I saw him on CSPAN the other day. I could only watch a couple of minutes.
