This really, really disgusts me and ticks me off,” Palin, according to Bailey, emailed aide Scott Heyworth in January of 2006. “I want to know right now who said it, who would ever lie about such a thing… this is the type of bullsh** lie about family that WILL keep me from running for Governor.”

Sounds like a normal human response to me. Maybe if GW Bush had displayed that kind of passion the left would have had a harder time trashing him politically, and maybe we wouldn't have had the 2008 election results.

Yep. I can think of quite a few decent people in my own acquaintance whose response to the same kind of slander would have been even more extreme. Defamation is serious business.
