NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Drivers who have filled up their car lately have probably experienced sticker shock at the pump. Gas prices keep going up.
"It's just getting higher and higher," said Nashville driver Robert Reynolds. "It's getting outrageous."
"It's ridiculous we have to pay this much for gas," said Tracy Nolan, another driver.
People pulling up to the pump this week are likely to be paying 4 cents more for gas compared to last week.
The average price for a gallon of unleaded in Nashville is $3.04 cents. Economists are predicting a surge in gas prices because of instability in the Middle East. There are some who say drivers could be paying $5 a gallon for gas by late summer.

The answer to this problem is simple: Start drilling in ND, MT, TX, OK, etc., off shore and Alaska. Screw the ME, we don’t need them and we sure as heck don’t need Obama and these Democrats who are preventing us from getting our own oil.

Oh they're awake. The Obama Admin wants this and much more to bring down the US. The Interior Department was found in contempt of court for its second gulf drilling moratorium and has been ordered to pay legal fees to one of the oil companies. They don't seem to care. Now the Interior Department has been given thirty days to decide on pending permit applications by a Federal court because of continuing stalling. I wonder if they care about that either.
Then we are done. Diesel here in Albuquerque hit 3.60 last week and that was before the Libya mess.

.but we’ll make it through the 2070’s, I still have the vinyl records to prove it!
It’s called DEMOCRATS!!! I’m in Iowa and I’ll support whichever candidate makes the biggest stink about what the RATS are doing to the price of fuel.
This will affect food prices and everything else as well.
Remember when liberal Congress critters pilloried Big Oil for raising prices when gasoline neared $4 per gallon? Who will they blame now when Obama stopped offshore drilling, snubbed the Canadians who wanted to build another pipeline for moving crude to the US and embraced every radical environmentalist whacko idea to keep us from developing our own oil?

The GOP controlled both the house and senate along with the white house for 6 years. Yet nothing was done about drilling for oil in our own country.
