By what I read here, it seems that alot of people have stopped watching him, myself included. I wonder if his ratings have declined since he called us all nuts for wanting to see BO’s birth certificate. That was the last straw for me.
I worked at a TV station years ago and February was always a Neilsen Sweeps month. Television time buys are based on how well the programs rate in specified categories. Advertisers put their money on the programs that have the highest viewership according to the results of the ratings. That’s why you’ll see the local and national news programs running their special interest series during the Sweeps. O’Reilly insults the birthers but he doesn’t hesitate to “use” them to increase his ratings.

O’Reilly brings on Bernie Goldberg and they dis Soros. Next they dis the LWM coverage of the Tea Party versus the WI teachers. BG makes the comment that the LWM has NO comment about the WI union demonstrators being almost completely white.
O’Reilly features Anthony Maschek telling the Columbia students that there are bad guys out there plotting to kill Americans. (audience heckles).
O’Reilly is email a criticism of his stand on planned parenthood. O’Reilly says that planned parenthood should NOT receive federal dollars.
