One of Chris Christie's top political advisers revealed that he is considering formation of a federal political action committee because of the extraordinary interest in the New Jersey governor.
Bill Palatucci, often described as Christie's "political godfather," said that not forming such a fundraising committee would be "leaving money on the table."
The comments came in an interview with the Courier-Post of Cherry Hill, N.J., published Sunday.
Palatucci, Christie's former law partner, made the remarks even as he tried throwing cold water on the notion that the governor who's gotten acclaim from national Republicans is taking steps designed toward a presidential run.
"If reporters would look for a second below the surface, they'd see I've never been to Iowa," Palatucci said, adding that another adviser, Mike DuHaime, "has not been to New Hampshire. There have been no lawyers hired to advise or investigate a presidential run."

Here's the truth about the so-called "Conservative" Christie, the truth the Main-Stream media, and even conservative journalists/organizations are not printing:
- Chris Christie's budget passed only after three conservative Republicans were bullied into voting for it and the savings achieved in the budget were done at the expense of new taxes, new fees, federal Stimulus funds and accounting gimmicks; the 2% property tax cap will actually cause taxes to skyrocket; he has yet to propose the across the board tax cuts he promised as a candidate; the budget actually INCREASES state expenditures by 6% and the number of staff in the Governors office making $100,000 per year increases by ten;
- Chris Christie's confrontation with the unions is pure Kabuki theater with nothing accomplished but acrimony; he has yet to lay off a single state employee and his proposed 2011 state worker reduction plan is little more than window dressing;
- Chris Christie has populated his cabinet with notorious liberals while firing the only true conservative - after slandering him;
- Chris Christie has endorsed notorious RINO candidates in the 2010 mid-term election while avoiding (with one notable exception) contact with conservative candidates;
- Chris Christie supports a multi-state Cap & Trade scheme known as the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and is so committed to Cap & Trade that he used funds raised from RGGIs carbon auctions to help balance the budget; he has directed that state funds be appropriated to subsidize green technology ventures such as off-shore windmills;
- Chris Christie has refused to join other state attorneys-general in a joint lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare while accepting federal funds for the implementation of a similar program on a statewide level;
- Chris Christie is on record saying that he does not believe illegal aliens are here illegally; he has indicated that he supports amnesty for illegals; he generally favors strict gun control and he supports construction of the Ground Zero Mosque even as he condemns those who oppose it.

while firing the only true conservative - after slandering him If this is about Schundler, it's funny. Totally inaccurate, but funny. I voted for Schundler when he ran--in the primary, and the general. Did you? Oh wait, you're not even in NJ.
Schundler screwed up big time and deserved to get the high hat. Christie handled that situation perfectly. He defended Schundler on Wed. Got the facts on Thurs. And shitcanned him on Fri.

Then we can now adjourn this meeting, it agreed that lard boy stays in jersey and can run against lord rottenburg for senate.
To: org.whodat
Screw that. I want him to serve as governor til he’s term limited out. That’d be in 2017. At that time, if he’s still interested in public service, and if his NJ record is a success, Senator would be a come-down. Real leaders like Christie don’t want to be 1 out of 100. Can you imagine Reagan running for Congress? Me either.

Stick it yourself moron, I didn't comment on any position he holds.
I commented on your use pejorative use of language and noted how it resembles those at DU.
Now you continue to demonstrate how correct I was.

For the firing of a transit worker who burned one page of the koran at a Ground Zero mosque protest. The man was on his private time. Christie demanded we be tolerant. Rather hypocritical given it’s the muslims who are intolerant.
He appointed a muslim Judge who had been defending muslims following 9/11.
He has no problem with the Ground Zero mosque.
He has no problem with illegals. Weak on 2nd. amendment.
He’s good at bashing the unions but for the most part they continue to do what they want and taxes are going up up up and away in NJ
