The first lady should be offered ss protection at taxpayer expense in DC, yes
If after the POTUS admonishes people to sacrifice and to not take vacations and the wife still wants to go on vacation then he should use his money to pay for it all INCLUDING giving us taxpayers the money paid for SS.
That is quite fair and equitiable and sends a message to the people that 0dumbo understands when he asks us all to sacrifice he includes himself and the POS wife.

Of course, that then means that the only people who will be able to run for and actually function as President will be the mega-wealthy - the Romneys, the Trumps, etc, etc. Not exactly what I want or what I think would be good for the country, but I certainly understand your position, now.
