Two Iranian warships are headed towards the Suez Canal en route to Syria with Israel's foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman hinting the Jewish State may respond.
Lieberman said in a speech: "Israel cannot forever ignore these provocations."
Israel has long accused Iran and Syria of providing weapons to Islamist groups seeking its elimination.

If these monkeys are ever to make a move against Israel, they, strategically, must do so during this U.S. Administration.

IMO, Israel & the U.S. need to worry more about continuing riots/protests in various moslem countries right now.
These warships, at present, are of no consequence. Though are aimed to cause anxiety & distraction. Apparently, they’re achieving those objectives.
We often talk about Shi’ite & Sunni rivalry, but I can tell you that, overall, the Iranian regime & their current spokesperson Ahmadinejad are (& have been for quite sometime) far more popular among ordinary Arabs (not their gov’ts) throughout the ME & North Africa than in Iran.
The regime in Iran, over the last 10 yrs or so, has been actively managing perceptions in their own favor throughout the moslem world, while we’ve been chasing our own tail.
If the current riots in various Arab countries continues, with the mullahs’ regime adding fuel to fire by proxy, then I suspect the Iranian regime will be looking to create & leverage on critical mass it needs for additional chaos. I’d be surprised if Israel is not already mindful of just that.
Anyway, some food for thought.
These warships potentially carry cruise missles which may contain radioactive nuclear material...
They could be of a very serious consequence...
As I said, I don’t think they are of consequence “at present”. Should the Iranian regime build critical mass then they may take action using the warships, but Not at present.
The aim of the regime in Iran is not their own destruction. Their aim is Domination.

The above happening same time as protests & confrontations in the U.S. are very disturbing.
Legally sending ships through the Suez Canal is not “provocation” except to those looking for a fight. I am hoping Israel does not turn this into another USS liberty incident.
