We have to cut out the middlemen too. Teachers’ pay
directly from parents, not any Board, or something along
that line. While the majority of teachers in NYC’s
“rubber rooms” are there bc they do not belong in a
classroom, there’s enough cases of decent people who
simply somehow offended their local low level Commissar
and Soviet [rough equivalent for “Principal” and “Community
Board”
It seems odd to be writing this. I do not personally remember
the consensus that once existed more than 60 years ago
that teachers should be paid a regular salary, but I know
those who do.
