Two Protestant churches are taking some heat from critics for opening their church buildings to Muslims needing places to worship because their own facilities were either too small, or under construction.

Gee, why not just let the KKK meet there?
I guess these churches forgot that part of the Gospel...if they ever knew it in the first place.
It is what Jesus would do. I have read Mormons are always allowing Evangelicals to use their Churches everytime one gets hit by Greek Orthodox lightning for the insurance.
This is a good example of how stupid our people have become and how the goody two shoes will sacrifice their own lives. They don’t realize that the people they are letting in their churches will turn on them eventually. Were I a member of one of these churches, I would leave and go some place else.
“Aids is God’s wrath against homosexuals’’? Then what was Ryan Whites transgression? Yours is an absurd statement to say the least.
There are also plenty of empty store fronts and other buildings that the Muzzies could use.
Evangelicals should witness to the lost, but I'm pretty sure that letting them use our buildings that people have given sacrificially for is not pleasing to God when there objective is to kill the “Infidel”
Baptists are present in large numbers throughout the south; unfortunately the Southern Baptists in the south these days aren’t the staunch folks of my youth. Many of the larger SBC congregations are following the willow creek model. Still they are better than most other Christian congregations out there. I’m not sure if this heartsong church started out as a Baptist congregation or not, but in offering their sanctuary to what are essentially satan-worshippers they’ve left the reservation.
That's not what this is, though, Ms. Bechtol...you should have invited them to church to worship with you and share with them the Good News. The Church is not supposed to be a social club.
These people might as well put a gun to their head and pull the trigger.
1. They are enabling/promoting a false religion. I’m sure God is happy with that.
2. They are enabling a religious/political movement that has dedicated itself to conquering the world and putting all men in subjection to their theology.
Real smart.

If we don’t abide by what appear to us to be the “small” things, how can God encourage us to abide by His bigger expectations?
Yes, but you are also supposed to witness to the lost. This is not witnessing to them, and is in fact directly accomodating behavior which does not lead them in that direction. The comments in the article indicate they are treating this as two social clubs holding joint events - like if your local Kiwanis Club and Lions Club decided to hold a joint events or use each one another’s facilities to help one another out.
“Doesn’t that seem a bit, er, strict?”
God made it all. He gave us everything. He made the rules. He enforces the rules. Who are we to challenge God’s rules?

2 Corinthians 6:14 (New King James Version)
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
Absurd to say it could be possible, which is all I said? Not at all. In the Old Testament plenty of people perished in plagues brought on by the acts of a few. It was fairly routine during the desert wanderings as in the aftermath of the Korah rebellion. There is certainly precedent.
The ‘’plagues’’ spoke of in the Bible are more metaphoric and ‘’plagues’’ can be put down to ancient ignorance of sanitation, disease, wars etc. While I am against homosexuality I believe ours is a loving God not a vengeful one. And you didn’t answer the question I asked. If you believe aids was God’s wrath and homosexuals what was Ryan whites transgression?
And I said I don't know, I have no idea. No one can know the cousel of God. But it would not be inconsistent with scripture - as shown by OT plagues. There is aboslutely no reason allegorize away the plages described in the narrative chapters of the law. They were real and were the real manifestation of God visiting his wrath. Aaron stopped the plague following the Korath rebellion immediately upon donning the incense and making atonement. Unfortunately over 14,000 died for the acts of a few in the time it took him to finish.
Who said he transgressed? God called him home at his appointed time and did so in a manner which worked out a lot of good in the process. Who can know his ways?
The words that you used “self-degrading” jumped out at me. So many things that the West is doing to itself is self-degrading.
