Have you been to the grocery store lately? I shop weekly, using coupons, sales, etc to reduce our grocery bill. That box of oatmeal that use to cost .95 at the Navy Commissary was $1.99 last Tue. Prices on most items were up any where from .50 to a $1.00 per item.
Gas just hit $3.05 at the cut rate stations closest to our home.
The original joke was about the “2-minute cook time” being inflated to “4-minutes”. ;-)
