Hidden agenda of the libertarians seems to be drugs and sex for or with kids. Some of them deny it and say they stand by the Constitution (which lists no age of consent of course). There have been a couple of times where a FReeper did openly admit to me that they think 13 year olds are perfectly capable of being adults. (hahaha)

I’m kind of libertarian on economics, I don’t think the government should even own roads or libraries and I am perfectly willing to privatize the fire department. lol.

But I would never sacrifice children to the altar of libertarianism.

Always good to see you Geron! I think it is entirely possible to be pro-life and libertarian. I think there is a much greater contradiction in the other possibility. There is no greater violation of someone’s right than removing their life! And libertarianism (and of course it should be noted that we are discussing this philosophy as if it were one unilateral, monolithic entity rather than a disparate set of paths like any other ideology)is all about personal responsibility and not making others pay for your mistakes . . . ie it should be against killing babies because you couldn’t take the necessary precautions.
