They will not obey an unconsitutional order and if it comes to shooting American citizens about 80-85% of the rank and file soldiers will turn their guns on the civilian leadership or their superiors. You will Romania all over again.
I say take it to them in a non violent way. Bring lots of black fabric bags (hoods) and large industrial sized zip ties. When one of them starts their crap, someone from behind first hood them and then others organized to zip tie their hands and feet together leaving them hog tied on the ground squealing like the pig he/she is. 10 seconds and it is all done.
Only when some enterprising (very doubtful) nutjob ally must have to be prepared with wire cutters to free their ideological mates, long after the party has passed, to the next scumbag. Just like the insurgents in Iraq, these leftist scum will only back down after we show no fear to take them on.

For a number of reasons it’s not as simple of that.
The first problem he’s got is Posse Commitatus, add to that that WI like all states has a national guard. This isn’t a national problem, it’s isolated to one state. I think Scott Walker would take exception and Obama would risk this lighting up into something really serious. He also risks more htan half the nation’s governors activating their national guards to stop Obama from doing things there. The military might not support him in that instance.
He also doesn’t have control of the other two branches of Congress. He wouldn’t want to risk doing something that will ultimately blocked as illegitimate. Then he’ll have to choose to break the law and lose his advantage. Media shadow games only go so far. Shut down the internet and EVERYONE gets really pissed.
He’d crash the economy too. I know he wants this, but if he jumped the shark and it was perceived as a power grab, his ground would thin tremendously. He can be impeached and removed and that would probably do it. Granted he probably wouldn’t care and would try to make it go to full blown civil war, but it could just as easily mean his butt is out of office before he’s gets far enough to do damage.
We also have a great deal of our military overseas. The only thing here is the Air Force. Unless he wants to start dropping JDAMS it’s going to be tough if the states withhold their national guard contingents. Even with troops, even the Marines, you aren’t talking about a few ragheads and a couple of AK’s against 500 Marines. More like 20,000 to 500, many of those ex-military. They’d be coming from all sides, you’d have to carpet bomb multi square miles against that kind of threat. That will just piss off Americans even more. Our military would be slaughtered.
Without full blown national chaos doing something like that would more than likely backfire on Obama. His martial law fantasies wouldn’t play out like he thinks.

If you think this is FR pushing a civil war, you are wrong. The war has already started. It was started by the Left, not us. But patriots WILL finish it. The only question is, when and where will the first shots be fired.

I find it odd that no one ever reads that verse Jesus actually in his last command to his disciples was to take everything they owned and go and buy a sword now a sword in its day was like a 44 mag handgun it was the most powerful weapon of its time. Turning the other cheek deals with a civil matter, the humiliation and wounded pride that comes with a slap. When it crosses over into a criminal matter, the right to self-defense comes along with it.
There is also a difference between persecution and general criminality. We are called to love our enemies, and live at peace with everyone as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). The means that we should be peaceful, tranquil people in our everday lives. But if someone puts this body, which was made in the image of God (imperfect as it may be), I have an obligation to defend it and others in a criminal attack.
You're making the mistake of lumping crime and persecution together. Persecution is always a crime, but crime does not equal persecution. I am willing to lay down my life for my faith, but not for anything less than that - it cheapens life otherwise.
Finally, you misquoted Matthew 26:52 - it's not merely taking up a sword, but living by it that leads to death. People who have guns are not living by them - it's the criminals who forcefully advance upon others who do, and they eventually meet their end. If one lives by the sword (offense), they will eventually be stopped by a defender; that's the way life goes. In life, there are attackers, defenders and bystanders. I choose to be a defender.

Agreed 100%. You said it, and said it well. I skipped all of this and went straight to telling hotheads - “Don’t take you guns to Madison and start shooting. Let Obama make impeachable mistakes.”
The correct action for the public and Tea Party Activists is to stand with the Governor, not take action into their own hands.
Other Governors are watching and anticipating taking actions along the same lines. If it turns into a shooting dispute between left and right, the Republicans lose public support because the MSM is left wing.
I’m sure it will come as a surprise to our jewish and atheist friends here on FR that we’re a Christian board.
Meanwhile, let’s stop and ponder exactly where we’d be right now if the tea party hadn’t formed itself and started fighting back and where we’d be without all the town halls many thousands of us attended over the last two years.
Are we angry? You bet. Are we occasionally loud? You bet. Do we attack our opponents physically or even THREATEN them physically? NO, WE DO NOT.
