These old Democrats see the writing on the wall. I wish they all had the courage to do the right thing, and quit now. Governor Martinez is ready to appoint Jeff’s replacement.

Keep voting for socialism and retire filthy rich or vote for the people and risk retiring only well-to-do...
They all seem to be making the same choice.

Governor Martinez is ready to appoint Jeffs replacement. She will not get the chance. Bingaman is not going to run again but will be in the Senate until 2012.

You will not be missed when you leave.

NOW, lets think about what we can do to “investigate” some of these “Rats” and speed their removal from office. Elections are next in 2012, but investigations can commence now. It is Past Time.

You are right on!!! Many Democrats see the handwriting on the wall!!! Obama is not only destroying the country, he is destroying the Democrat Party. Obama will be defeated in 2912, but the Democrat party will be destroyed as a viable political force!!! The Rats are indeed jumping from the sinking Ship!!! I have often stated over the past few years, that the Democrat Party will rue the day they elected anti-American hater, Barack Hussein Obama as their POTUS. He is not my President, never was and never will be!!!

You want to send an open borders guy to the US Senate? Are you crazy?

You want to send an open borders guy to the US Senate? Are you crazy? Gary has already state that he is not interested.
Right now I can think of two general election winners, the Libertarian (Johnson) or the RINO (Wilson), I guess it'll have to be the RINO.
Let's face it, this is New Mexico.

Following NRO tweets...speculating Richardson will run for Bingaman's seat, also from Politico: "jmartpolitico37 minutes ago Think about all the yrs of seniority lost in last couple of yrs: Byrd, Kennedy, Dodd, Dorgan, Specter, Gregg, Bond, now Bingaman".
I see it as losing a bunch of socialists with perhaps a couple of exceptions.

I’m glad that there is so much turnover in the Senate recently (including 2010) as there is as the people who were in there have pretty much bankrupted our country.

Richardson vs Wilson would be interesting. Bill would have to run on his record as governor, and Heather could run on Bills record too.
Of the two Heather would be more apt to win since Bill has pissed off so many in the state it's not funny. He can't even get any speaking engagements around the state.
As far as Gary running, he would be more of a fiscal conservative than anyone else. He didn't like spending as governor, he sure wouldn't as a Senator either.

Is there any chance that anyone other than a dem can win in NM now? I remember the dirty trick pulled on Wilson with the ballots, and I'm sure that by the time the election rolls around the dems will be in such a snit because Martinez has started getting rid of some of the Richardson crap they will be trying everything to gain back power.
I live in AZ now, but isn't the NM legislature still under dem control?

Heather could win. She is strong in the south and in Alb. She would have the military vote for sure, and Martinez and her SecState are running roughshod over the county clerks to get the rolls straight.
The Dihms in the State House tabled her revocation of drivers licenses for illegals, and voter ID, but there is always the Executive Order she could use.

Luckily I had lived here before and my old records were still available.
I'm loving the way Martinez is kickin' butt and takin' names...I hope she does use the EO to clean up the voter ID mess.
