RAVENNA If Evan Daniel Emory wanted his 15 minutes of fame, he got it.
But being arrested on a 20-year felony Tuesday probably wasnt what he had in mind.
Emory, 21, who authorities say victimized an entire Ravenna first-grade classroom on Jan. 12, was arrested late Tuesday, charged with manufacturing child sexual abusive material, a 20-year felony.
Emory was lodged in the Muskegon County Jail and authorities say an arrest warrant will be issued early Wednesday. Prior to his arrest Monday, Emory told WOOD-TV 8 he deceived school officials because if he would have told them what he planed, they would never have let me do it.

The guy is a filth mouthed douche, that said, no crime was committed. The video was stitched together.
I agree the guy is foul but I hate it when government tries to convict someone when no crime is committed.
A stupid sleazy stunt but I agree that its no 20 felony.

In the unlikely event that he is convicted, this will end up in the Supreme Court or at least be overturned on appeal. First Amendment issue here - no actual children were harmed and there is no reasonable belief by viewers that children were actually harmed. The overbroad nature of the statute would appear to criminalize films such as “Bastard Out of Carolina” which merely suggest child abuse without actually abusing children.
This moron should NOT go to jail for this
It is perfectly legal to be stupid in USA
His ‘victims’ have a civil suit but NO CHILD WAS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED so how can he be arrested for that
I think his deception of the school officials should be punished with a good hard slap on the wrist.
Dave Chappelle used to do a Sesame street type of skit with children singing about crack hos and STDs.
No doubt inspired by Charlie Sheen’s (Two & a Half Men)concert for kids:

I wonder what police will find on his computer? I understand the youtube video was “stitched” together; however, I think someone who has pedophile tendencies may pull a stunt like this. Unfortunately for the kids and parents, some of the kids faces appeared on the video... I’m sure without permission.
He is the victim, of goverment. The video is a spoof the is a edited tape no kids around when he did it.
There’s an ongoing scene in the show “Reno 911” where they do the exact same skit in front of a classroom of kids. It’s stitched together also.
Hey if someone gets 20 years for this, then we should start giving the same jail time to providers of cable TV as they subject kids to the same material every day.
Or maybe just give him a good old fashioned a$$ whuppin’ and take away his computer for a while, but 20 years for this is just all wrong.
Agreed...but how do you like your new freedom? There’s some changed for ya...
For possibly showing kids without permission the parents should take him to civil court. Nothing he did supports jail time. I would not say he has pedophile tendencies just a sick sense of humor.
I didn’t see the video so it could be a sick joke or perhaps something worse. Singing filthy lyrics while showing children smiling and giggling is out there in my book. Somehow he worked to gain access to this school by deceit. It just gets my creepy vibes up!
“I would not say he has pedophile tendencies just a sick sense of humor.”
Perhaps. But the fact that he made the “if they had been aware of what he was doing” makes it perfectly clear he should never be in a classroom.
The school says he actually sang songs, kid songs, and entertained the kid well. Afterwards with a computer posted a edited video, no kids around, of the foul mouth version.
I know that
So what exactly did they arrest him for?
He will win in court, and the government will look even stupider
Don’t mess with Tony Tague. This is not the first time he’s overprosecuted to make a point.
