Obama WANTS Wisconsin Mess
The American Spectator ^ | February 18, 2011 | Quin Hillyer

Posted on 02/18/2011 12:05:43 AM PST by RobinMasters

Over at NRO, Jay Nordlinger makes an incredibly good point: Barack Obama should be urging calm in Wisconsin, no matter WHAT side of the underlying issue he is on. It is not just unpresidential of him, but despicable, for him in effect to be urging on the mass demonstrations.

But as J. Christian Adams, Justice Department whistle-blower extraordinaire, reminded me in an email accompanying this post of his, these are not only the tactics always favored by the left in general, but specifically the sorts of tactics Obama himself was trained in -- AND exactly what I myself warned about (as Christian reminded me) in my very first post-presidential election column in 2008.

Since day one of his failed presidency nobama has been nobama. That is, he is purposefully trying to destabilize America. nobama is a marxist/socialist community organizer who is so self-loathing that he attempts to bring everything down to his loser level. nobama is one sick puppy...sick.

The unions may have many locals but no way near the non-union folks. They are a small band of economy killers. Right thinking Americans have a 10 to 1 advantage. Right now they have the loudest mouth. However there time is coming like a train wreck.

Obama has made a fool of himself world wide and the unions are following in his perp-walk. As they say, give them enough rope and they will hang themselves. Future elections will be won by anti-union candidates. So liberals out, next in line unions.

“Silver is up to $31.93 in the overseas market. People are watching.”

IMO, it has some effect, but there’s also Egypt, Libya, Jordan and Yemen all going critical.

Isn’t it about time for Lil’ Kim to act up?

I’m with you, I was so proud of that lone tea partier in Illinios who confronted the WI senators. And the people down at the WI capitol showing their support for the Governor. With people like that, we won’t have a Cairo.

The unions and the dems are finally really showing the people just what they are, and it isn’t pretty. I think they have finally pushed the envelope.

I agree, and if they try this in my state, I would like to see a bunch of concerned citizens (me included) go down to my state capital and ring it with bodily protection. The people trying to do the right thing deserve it.

Remember: please don't assume that what is going on in Madison is typical of or is happening all over WI.

Madison is the state capital, and as such, draws an unrepresentative crowd of libs over the issue of killing off the thug unions.

Madison does not represent the state!

IE: do you hear of any "gatherings of cowards" in La Crosse, GreenBay, Appleton, Eau Claire, Superior???? Of course not.

Believe me when I tell all of you....the great majority of voters in WI are behind Walker 100% and believe the dem/lib/prog/pop elected officials who ran away are displaying the cowardice we've long known they possessed as one of their basic personality traits.

To whit: when the going gets tough, when the battle is going against you, when the road leads steeply upward, when all seems lost... RUN AWAY AND HIDE!!!.

It is a very good thing none of them are in the military...else we'd be in the same state as is France.

No, the govt derives its power from “the consent of the governed” here in America... Remember We the People?

Your assessment is correct. However, the reason for the fall is not the “leaders”, but, the people who elect thres type individuals to be “leaders”. The obamas, ect. are not the problem. They are merely the symptoms or manifestification of the problem.

obama is a community organizer, nothing more nothing less.
He is just doing what he knows how to do. The unions backed him big time so he is rewarding his friends and punishing his enemies. This goof had no intention of being president of the United States, he is the president of the SEIU and a puppet of the saudis.

Uh, yeah, right. Waco, Ruby Ridge, Wounded Knee....

IRS, EPA, DOJ, DOD, DOE, DHS

I could go on with a little effort. Nah, I got better things to do.

I agree. Obama is a "gift" from Americans who voted for him.

These principled conservatives need all the support they can get. The protest is well funded, well planned, and poll tested.

The media narrative seems to be stuck on Republicans denying collective bargaining and ignores the sacrafice in benefits that the employees are being asked for. This is intentional.

This what Chris Christie was skillful in doing, keeping the focus on the sacrifice and the budget shortfall because a vast majority of the public will see the sacrifice in benefits to be not that big of a deal.

It is imperative that these state senators remain firm.

What I fear will happen this weekend is that some Republican in Washington will throw them under the bus. Keep your eye on the Sunday Morning Talk Shows, and if John McCain is a guest, watch your back.
