I sometimes think that a fully collapsed economy would be a good thing, since these spoiled brats would have to worry about more important things than this.
As far as they are concerned, it is fully collapsed; their unemployment is worse, and will be the slowest to recover. The housing collapse left their neighborhoods even more dysfunctional. They can either grow up or fade into insignificance, replaced by our southern cousins in the workforce, our cities, our government, and even our prisons.
