I really thought he was toast when he hit the wall. First two qualifying positions would start side by side, in the back.
Hopefully they can patch it up, but how well it will go is another question.

They do need to change that qualifying rule - if the front two wreck in practice, they should at least have a chance to race in for a position like everyone else, otherwise it’s not worth having the pole.
