I had Bayne in “C”
I would never choose Waltrip and Menard only if he proves himself first this year.
However, I also had Harvick and Jr — so I only had a 240 score.

Bobby was THE man pushing Bayne to the end, never even giving a hint of dumping him. He was there until Edwards shoved his nose in there with about 2 feet of room to the yellow line.

That just about says it all.
That said, time for work, play time is over.

We really enjoyed the (recorded) race. Huzzahs for Bayne.
Great tribute to Dale Sr. in the pre-race program.
The EC engines blowing up was a bit of a shock -
Crummy home schedule ‘til the end of March. Lv Bend Wednesday evening and come back Saturday evening. Very little time to pick research or pick drivers....

Very little time to pick research or pick drivers.... Want some Billy Goat cheese with that whine? It doesn't appear to have affected your accumulated points this far into the season...

Ah yes, The good old days when there was no banging and everyone finished on the lead lap.
You’re right about that guard rail NYT. I imagine they took that boy out with a cutting torch and transported him directly to the mortuary. I was at a nascar race here when a driver was impaled by a wooden guardrail and another tragedy I witnessed was the flagman and a crewman running onto a dusty track to warn drivers of a wreck and both were killed directly in front of the grandstand at a hardtop race at the Ferndale fairgrounds in the mid 50s

Some Tumalo “Remberance” cheese would be just fine....wait a few weeks & then check the point totals.
Getting really tired of the snow. 3’ drifts in the front yard and another big storm is supposed to hit Wednesday. Lows near zero forecast too. You live in a good place, T.B.

I left the house just long enough to walk out and get the paper and then back in. I had a lot of guilt because it was clear and 53 degrees but I promised myself and my lady that I would work on getting my post cards sorted so I can add them to their respective albums. It could snow down to sea level this week so I have to make sure I have film for my digital camera...
