Unless you can clone one of them, that won’t work. They need 20 present to even vote.

If these Representatives don’t show up, they ALL need to be recalled. To organize a no show is a dereliction of duty to the citizens of Wisconsin.

Call ‘em all out Governor! Fire the no show employees and recall the no show Representatives!

May God give Gov. Walker the strength and wisdom to do it.

The Texas episode in 2003 is the first thing I thought of when read the headline. Those TX Rats where living motels under assumed names to avoid voting. Apparently this is not uncommon in certain states.

All they need to do is round up one of them, and they'll have the 20 people necessary to hold a vote. Just one. And after they round him/her up and hold the vote, then arrest the rat for identity theft for assuming a false name.

The governor’s proposed bill does not apply to cops and firemen.

the other trick that the 'rats are going to try will be to try and hold up a couple of Republicans from getting to the statehouse to vote. Essentially, it'll be a kidnap of sorts, and while they won't hold anybody hostage, they'll certainly attempt to block their path to get to the vote. The 'rats are going to try every dirty trick in the book to keep the gravy train rolling.

I strongly suggest that any Wisconsin taxpayers, tea party members, and the like stand up now and counter these thugs. If you see a democrat hiding out in a local hotel, tell someone. Call attention to their presence. Get the media involved. Call the RNC. Call the cops. Get them noticed.

Texas, when the democrats fled to OK, in order to prevent the redistricting of the state. Arrest warrants were issued, and eventually they gave in.

[Okay, so why can’t one Republican switch parties and become a Democrat for a day or two? ]

Exactly

Going by what I've read....

20 members required for a quorum irrespective of party affiliation. GOP only holds 19 seats. One democRAT is required, not for bipartisan reasons, but simply to meet the quorum. Changing parties doesn't help

Please tell me the police are authorized to use non-lethal force.

Are the police in this State unionized? You have the answer.

I know.... that is the tight spot that I am sure the Governor fears. But if he caves, we lose big : /

May God give each of us the strength to do the hard things, when they are the right things.
