I think she should have been brought in if this was her first offense, disciplined and encouraged to be more “wise” in her statements and realize that Nothing is private. It is always smart to stay off the internet for job issues. My husband is a teacher and I get an earful of his commets, but he never speaks against a student and is very careful about any remarks he makes on his facebook. Yes, she probably does have stupid, lazy kids in her class - hopefully, she will help become part of the solution - if not, perhaps teaching is not the career for her!
