Amazing what stuff Freepers keep....

Love keywords ...but many posters seem to be unaware of it or just prefer not to use them...

I depend on them heavily.

Anything to help organize the flood of items on FreeRepublic is useful.

Sunkenciv keeps me well supplied with good reading material.

I'll add the right key words to other people's posts to find them again

That's a great feature - that anyone can add those keywords to make it more searchable.

My all-time favorite keyword omissions are probably not using states’ names; same goes for the topics lists (but only in the “news” forum). It’s a better system than the way it used to be, but the limits (and duplication of effort) in the topics lists is pretty zany. In the “gop” forum, there are 50 more state topics, but without the preceding “US:” — and that makes no sense, obviously they should be merged.
