I hadn't noticed JR's sign on date ~ I always assumed the guy who runs the system can go into the record and put any date he wants in there ~ like AD 3 or something.

I learned about FreeRepublic while listening to Rush Limbaugh during the whole Lewinsky scandal. Lurked for a long time, because I was a little intimidated when reading some of the debates here.

The level of debate since 2000 has dropped a good bit, but the amount of information posted here is extremely high quality.

Better than any of the networks, newspapers or other news outlets.
