West supports Braun almost certainly based on her skin color.
And they both probably think Republicans are racists.

I have friends who have for a long time been strong Allen West supporters. His story relating to his military service is well known and if what I have read is accurate he has my respect.
Carol Moseley Braun is an idiot.
Now, this is coming form Huff Po??
Surely there is a credibility issue here.

this endorsement ought to move her from the mid-single digits into the low-single digits Remember Chicago is only 42% white, and it was mostly the Chicago vote that sent Carol to the Senate. It is not too unlikely for Carol to win the Dem primary.
