All the military spending is labeled as “discretionary” and the social security and Medicare and Medicaid are all “mandatory.”

Hmmm.

Let’s check the Constitution to see which function is a mandatory function of the federal government and which is discretionary...

It breaks each one down into a “per household” figure. Don’t look at it if you have a weak stomach. The Social Security scam alone is more than $9,000 per household.

Pay your taxes.

Your hard working government needs the money more than you. :)

I can bet they are planning on increasing spending or least not cutting spending to to all the NAZI departments of government who are trying to micro manage every aspect of our lives. Such as in the clean air and water act which now goes way and far above simply keeping things clean. I don’t know what good all that is going to do when people freeze to death because they can’t afford to heat their homes. Many people already just can not afford that as the cost of doing so has risen several hundreds of a percent in the last 15 years. It has doubled in just the last 3-4 years. The fed is creating that problem to bail out their banker buddies.

An easy $73 billion can be ‘saved’ [sic] simply by holding current spending levels at the Departments of State, Agriculture, Energy, HUD, HHS, Treasury, and Justice.

If you want to reduce the number of government employees all you need to do is require drug tests for every position.

Wow, that’s an astonishing chart! Particularly, the per household prices!

I think it’s about time we had another Revolution.

Of particular interest in the story is what's not mentioned.....

There's no mention of the projected deficit for the 2012 budget.

That's quite an oversight.... (/s)
