CPAC Video interview.

TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2012; election; nominee; president
My 1st choice for 2012 at this point in the process, a fellow Georgian who would return Reaganomics to it's proper place in the US economy and honesty in the White House. Oh yeah, he also happens to be a black American if that means anything to you. Listen to him before you reject him because of the usual RINO whine that "he can't win because he's too far to the right for American voters". IMHO he could win if the American people ever have an opportunity to hear and see him. But the national media know they can't allow him to be seen or heard, so he has had very little national exposure so far and it's time he gets it.

BTW, I have never posted a video clip before, so cut me some slack if it doesn't come out right.

Excerpt from Slate website:

Jack Kemp made a pilgrimage to Omaha to meet the man who called himself The Hermanator—a name he has now trademarked—and bring him into the Republican Party. "Here's a black guy," Kemp told reporter Ceci Connolly after he was nominated for vice president in 1996, "who stands up with the voice of Othello, the looks of a football player, the English of Oxfordian quality and the courage of a lion."

Not that I have a great deal of admiration for what I considered Kemp's somewhat watered down version of conservatism, but at least he recognized that Cain possesses the kind of fiscal responsibility, managerial skills, high moral character, and common sense that he would bring to the Oval Office. An office which IMHO hasn't seen a great deal of those qualities since Reagan left it over 2 decades ago.
