I agree, the whole article is just plain silly. C-PAC has just proven it’s own irrelevancy. The behavior of the Libertarians, meaning their treatment of Cheney and Rumsfeld, not the Gay Party, simply highlighted the important differences between the Libertarians and the conservatives.

C-PAK had their own little coming out party last week and it wasn’t a pretty sight. The fact that it occurred in the middle of the Egyptian crisis only served to re-inforce the important differences that the Libertarians have with conservatives. The Paulers have more respect and concern for the Muslims than they do the Israelis, and that is an insurmountable difference.

Of the 5 ro 6 speakers I heard - only Mitch Daniels actually laid out proposals for gov’t spending reforms - including SS and Medicare. Others just poked fun at Obama.

The red ink he termed the “new red menace”
