So the maps *were* up to date?

And the US Military and our intel get thumbs up again. I find strange that the Chinese didn’t know if/that CIA could detect them. Was our tech so advanced or did the Chinese let down their guard?
Gotta love the spooks’ comment which is akin to “whoopsie, my bad”. They knew what they were doing and people dont realize right after that there was a hacking war between the Chicoms and American hackers immediately.
I was working for STRATFOR at the time, and they quickly called BS on the official story. The “old” maps showed an empty lot where that embassy was. That didn’t quite jive with sending a B2 non-stop from the US to Serbia and back with a satellite guided bomb attached.

The electronic interceptions were spot-on and the building attacked. . .at the time we did not have up-to-date info to reflect the building was Chinese.
No one knew, we have old data from the CIA and State Dept (wonderful people that they are). The building was in a Tier IV area, requiring precision to limit collateral damage. . .we did not want to affect anyone outside the target.
