It's a shame so many of less our guard down. It seems we've become a spineless lot post-McCarthy. How great a tragedy will we allow visited upon us before the majority grows a pair again.

It turns out McCarthy was right all along, and in reality, he should have been fighting harder...no...not him, he gave his life fighting against the tide...all of the REST of us should have been fighting harder with him.

Now, we will look back on this some years in the future, and we will be in exactly the same position McCarthy was, him with communism, us with homosexuality normalization.

Sad. This just broke something inside to hear Rumsfeld say this.
