Conservative commentator Ann Coulter brought today's audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington to its feet in applause after urging the Republican party to include gays - perhaps getting the last word on the place gays have in the conservative movement after a tussle that pitted social conservatives against libertarians at this year's conference.
"The left is trying to co-opt gays," she said. "They should be on our side."
The fight over the Republican party's acceptance of gay conservatives and gay rights came to a head at CPAC, after organizers invited the gay conservative group GOProud to be an official participant. Some social conservative groups protested the convention as a result, but gay conservatives and their allies this week declared victory, observing that they were well-received at the event.

I crossed her off my list when she gave GOPotty a place at the table by speaking at their event, regardless of what she said there. She’s corrupted.
I'm not; and a host of FReepers and sane Americans are not either. The abolition of sodomy laws in the Lawrence decision was the single most destructive cultural disaster in the past several decades, and handed the sodomites a sledge hammer to finish the job.
I figured Coulter for a fag hag sometime ago; being banned from her blog for mocking and exposing the homosexual lifestyle/agenda kinda sorta gave me that feeling.
As far as Sean Hannity goes though: He exposed Kevin "fistgate" Jennings on his show and even had Americans for Truth about Homosexuality's Christian conservative founder Peter LaBarbera on.
Is there something about Hannity that I need to know and don't?
My issue with Hannity is that he’s inconsistent on moral issues. I see what you’re saying about Jennings, how ever he’s soft on abortion & I believe would be soft on the homo agenda if it suited him at the time.
Something about Hannity pushes a button on me. Of all conservative commentators, I’d say he’s me least favorite

Understood. While I don't watch much television (the truth is found here on FR, why waste my time with tv?), I have to say, of all of the Fox News commentators, I trust(ed?) Hannity the most.
I'll pay closer attention to his views the next time I catch his show, as true conservatives (as opposed to rank and file republicans) are hard to find on tv.
Your question is flawed by the fact that it is premised upon a fallacy -that there are 'gay' beings possessing an immutable characteristic that defines 'gayness' -I call BS!
As such; rightly, the question (assuming the meaning of is is is), is "would you sit at a dinner table with someone who is engaging in homosexual sex?" The Answer is NO -regardless they are doing it on the floor, on the table or seated in a chair. I would not want to hear about it or be around it let alone eat around it. If that is what these perverts want to do -fine -not around me though.
Gays need help, mentally and spiritually, but hell so do I most days. If they want lower taxes and less government, come on in, as long as they talk about their private lives as much as I do at a political event. Which is NOT AT ALL. It’s just common courtesy, and they would get a lot less grief if they would just keep their mouths shut.
Actually, no. She is a Scottish-descended protestant.

Hmm. I stand correct. According to Wikipedia (who knows the accuracy) her father was Catholic but she does not subscribe to any one “denomination”. I thought for sure I saw her wearing a crucifix on TV one night. Thanks for the info.
Ann & Sarah are gone for me too but what did Hannity say or do?
