I am so sorry to read this. Always liked Jonah and his mom. He is so smart, and writes wonderfully. This loss has to be nearly unbearable for the family. I also lost a sibling way too young, and it takes its toll. I will pray that the Goldberg family finds comfort in their loving memories of Josh.

Joshua was a nice guy. Usually reserved, he stepped into the spotlight to run for city council in the West Side of Manhattan (CD-9, 55th-96th street).

Reading through Lucianne.com it was noted that some had gone on a search for some appropriate music and much of it was not in tune with his life.
Recently our family went through a series of deaths ~ so this time I am prepared.
Knowing that Josh was a prolific exemplar of what a beneficiary of and to the First Amendment should be like, I called up a Marion Anderson gospel version of his early Sacred Harp composition for a translated 5th century Greek Christian eventide song of prayer ~ "The Day is Lost and Gone" ~ this song is the very foundation for all Gospel music ~ by John Leland, the author of the words of the First Amendment!

Cried my eyes out on this one. I'll really miss Josh.
