Best as I can tell, Wal-Mart is shipping boxcars of IOUs to Beijing in exchange for boxcars of trinkets. Where does China take these IOUs to buy military supplies? Does China pay its soldiers in IOUs? The worse thing about this is pulling the rug out from under American manufacture.

Wages are going up for Chinese workers, the yuan is becoming more expensive relative to the dollar and rising oil prices will make it more expensive to transport Chinese goods to America. All of these trends spell doom for Walmart's business model.
